My love for painting ceramics began when I was 7 years old. (I won't tell you how long ago that was) My mom took me to ceramic classes every week all summer long for many years, until the ceramics store closed. I always loved to paint and draw, and still do. After several years, I attended college to get a degree in Illustration and Design. During that time, our kitchen was being remodeled. I was unable to find exactly the tiles I wanted for my backsplash, so I decided to make them myself! I combined my child hood love of ceramics with my experience in painting and design and made the perfect tiles for my kitchen. I fell in love with painting ceramic tiles and haven't stopped painting them since!

I have been married to the same wonderful guy for 16 years and I am the mother of four busy little boys.
